Hello, I am Carol?s résumé and I would like to thank you in advance for reading me. You will be informed and perhaps amused, but hopefully you will learn a little bit about who I am. I grew up in the Snoqualmie Valley, graduating with 89 people in my senior class. Living and working in Seattle for the past six years, and having the ?small-town? background that I do has given me a deep love and strong appreciation for this area and my fellow Seattleites. Okay, enough sap. I attended Seattle University immediately after high school, but couldn?t afford $4,000 quarterly without a major. So, I went to Bellevue Community College, taking various classes or personal interest. My favorites included Philosophy, Art, Astronomy and French. In the meantime, I worked at various cafés, and restaurants. I made a lot of friends and always had fun. Then one day it hit me. I found out that one of my regulars at the café I was working at (who I affectionately called ?garlicboy?) was the CEO of Go2Net.com and worth $180 million. I was then I realized my true calling. I am going to North Seattle Community College, studying Internet programming. I love it. I learn new things everyday and the whole world is fascinating to me. I have about a year and a half to go before I complete the course. I am taking this quarter off (spring 2000). I will go part-time evenings next quarter, (summer 2000) and resume full time status in the fall. Meanwhile, I am looking for a job to keep me busy. I have plenty experience in restaurants and catering. It is an area I always have fun in and I am confident in my skills and abilities. I am also a generally happy person, which comes in very handy in stressful situations, which often arise in the restaurant industry. So, in conclusion, I am looking for an environment where I can use my energy, knowledge, and creativity. Where a smile is contagious, and people work together for a common goal. If I sound like someone you might like to have on your staff, excellent! Please call anytime during the day. Although I do like to watch Days of Our Lives between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. (I?m just kidding. Anytime is fine) Thanks Again! -Carol
